These socks are made with wool and include acrylic yarns for the patterns and designs. This is a traditional design that I learned while on a trip to the Himalayas. There are several tribes in the North Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and in and around the town of Kedarpura – a temple town (the famous Kedarnath Temple is situated there) in the Indian Himalayas, who use this style. Obviously these woolens are popular because of the high altitude and cold!
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
