New York, New Yo...
ooh this one i want for myself, but it’s going to my very very dear and wonderful gal pal who loves all things purple. i have a lot of purple people in my life.
inspired by modcloth’s time for scrunch dress, which would look amazing on my friend… and that’s why i chose it to inspire me. i had NO idea what to make her till this contest! i think the dusty purple would peek out of the grey scrunchy ruffles and pleats so nicely.
i embellished this necklace with pieces from my vintage stash. the chain is attached at either end of th lavender smooshiness, and the whole shebang is handsewn— ninety percent of it with invisible thread, which took about 5 years of sight off my eyes.
