I think it’s beautiful! I really wish we were in an era where we could wear hats all the time, it would be fabulous! I hope you wear this prolifically, it’s gorgeous!

I agree, hats should be worn as much as possible. they are little works of art. Summer is in a few moths in NZ and i will wear it all the time, thank you :)

I just saw the picture of it and had to make it! I love making hats, you should so make one, the velet roses are the winning touch, i want to put them on everything now!

Wow – that is so elegant! The photo is excellent & I like how you get the whole circa 1910 composition and styling exactly right. So delightful that I laughed out loud to see the bonet and styling done so well. I hope you wear the hat sometimes, as it would be so cute with jeans and the white linen shirt you’re wearing in the picture. Actually, the whole outfit in the picture would be fine to wear for work or casual. You should get an A++++++!

Thank you, i did alot of laughing on that photoshoot, its was so funny. I do intend to wear it ALOT, hehe., I think hats need to get a big come back! Get my grades back on a week, cross fingers :)

Yes we did have lots of fun! Its was a great way to wind down after the intense, but fabulous milinery classes we had.

Thank you. no I didn’t use a pattern but i used a hat block to make the over all shape with a straw hood that I had dyed. Then its lots of hand stiches! Will try and put up some basic instructions soon.
