Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Made this for my nephew first birthday back in January. My sister-in-law asked me to make him a suit to match one his dad wore for his first birthday portrait. This was actually much harder then I thought it would be, since finding a suit jacket pattern for a one year old boy was next to impossible. I ended up drafting a size 7 down to his size. I wasn’t super happy with the end result but she was happy so it worked out. The pants and vest were made from a pattern but i can’t remember which. The shirt and tie were bought.
Material Notes
Jacket: velvet
Vest: flannel and satin
Pants: wool.
