What you need: A plain black top and some lace. What you get: A stylish staple that brings the basic black long-sleeved top to another level. I love lace, especially vintage lace that’s soft and supple, but sometimes a tight-fitting garment made entirely out of lace can be itchy or problematic (i.e. see-through), so this simple project gives you the best of both worlds. I’m agreeing. Very sad, haven’t been here for a while and dismayed to see commercial interests intruding in the member exchange.

Beautiful, an easy way to make a top more your own, and a pretty addition to show off your handmade skirts without stealing the show. thanks.

this is a great idea – looks good. This method could also be used vertically to enlarge the size of a too-tight shirt
