I made this bag for a good friend who has a rather chique and very feminine and individual style with soft colours. She loves Japan and also owns several Kimonos.
I think it perfectly matches the Japan inspired Haiku Scarf in Pretty Poppy for a more girly look but also the classy Highest Bidder coat which reminds a bit of a Kimono.

So pretty… I love the soft colors. I want to make one for myself! Wish you had a tutorial for me :-)

Thanks! Basically, it’s just 8 rectangular pieces (4 outside, 4 inside) of which 2 make a quadrate… They are sewn together half way, and there is the bag! Good luck :)

Thanks for the additional info. I’m going to try it. The colors are so perfect together… do you mind sharing the info regarding the fabrics used?

Do share the result! :)
I usually buy reduced simple, plain fabric. Often really good bargains perfect for embroidering and printing yourself, which I did here! Good luck!
