The design for this playful skirt came from our very own kasia26! Great for summer fun, this skirt features gathering of the pocket backing and bold bib-front buttons. Try using a contrast for the pocket backing for some extra punch.

I love the look of this pattern! It’s reminds me of something Betty Page or Audrey Hepburn would have worn in their day! And it a pattern that could easily be modified to create different looks. I can’t wait to try it!

I’m doing a sew-a-long for this skirt on WillowWould.blogspot.com. I agree with the info on the instructions, completely confusing but I’m going to go through it step by step with pictures and simplify it.

I have been working on this project for two weeks. This is a cute pencil skirt, but the instruction is absolutely confusing. I almost give up, but I love it so much that I took a pen and started to “decode” the instruction. I found typos, and inconsistant naming for the pieces causing it to be extra confusing. I had to pick the seams quite a number of times to get it right. Right now, I am stuck on step 9 for two nights, one step from finishing up…. But I am also one step from giving up on it. I am a beginner in sewing and I found sewing this piece is really challenging to do. It would be nice if Kasia26 can kindly revise the instruction, I am sure it would make all of us beginners who wish to sew our own kaisa really happy. Thank you! :)

I´m frustrated… I just more or less finished my Kasia and it is at least 2 sizes too big in the waist and at least 2 sizes too small at the hips, which unfortunatly cant be changes anymore. :( What a weird sizing. Did anyone else have that problem?

I also have problems with their sizing. For my case, the entire piece is two size bigger! I just tighten it by stitching the sides closer, so instead of 5/8" seams, I had it for 3" instead. oh well, it works! :)

Too big is better that too small… I gave it to my friend and it fit her perfectly so that was not tooo bad! ;)

The instructions are IMPOSSIBLE. I’ve read them through about 8 times and still can’t figure out what they mean. What a waste of fabric and time.

I like this skirt also, so much, but i can figure out the instructions..can someone tell me, how to continue..i have my pattern printed out and cut, but i dont know how to put on the fabric and how do i make the pockets?

I turned this pattern into a pattern for high waisted shorts recently, it turned out well and theyre coming on nicely, will have to post pics when i’m done :)

The same thing happened to me! I’m dying to make this gorgeous skirt, but every time i try to get the pattern it tells me my change was rejected and that I’m trying to do something I’m not supposed to. Help me!
