Description

This dress was quick and easy to make. The hardest part was figuring out how to fold the bodice piece. I left some comments on the pattern on how to figure it out. Also, be sure to notch all your pieces!! It’s really necessary for this piece!

The pattern didn’t come with a size small enough for me (it’s in tall sizes starting at 76 and I’m a 72, booo), so I just used the 76 and left off the seam allowance. I’m 5’7 so I make a 3 inch hem instead of a 1 or 2 inch. I think it fits pretty well but I’m quite narrow on top so would have ideally graded the pattern.

Material Notes

I used a very soft jersey. I think the project would have turned out better with a stiffer jersey.

Hi! I love the way you made this dress. I love jersey as well and the silk one is the best. I work in a fabric store and my customer is making the dress you made and she has no idea how to do it. She does have those instructions but not in english. do you thing you can send me some so I can pass it to her? you would help me a lot because this lady has no clue how to sow. thank you Lenka

Hi! I’m making this this weekend, but i’m struggling with the sizing… How did you figure out which size to cut? I don’t see them marked anywhere…
