This jacket is made with wool and has not any linings. Every seam is ironed apart and quilted. I’ve bought the main patterns at www.schnittquelle.de. Afterwards I recognised, that the sleeves are mich too narrow, so that I would not be able to wear a pullover beneath. I had to alter the the back of the jacket too. Instead using darts in let someone pitching at my own back directly.
The priorities for the selection of the fabric was: It has to keep me warm, it should be easy to process, and it should be almost resistant to water. My collegues like it very much.

The jacket is beautiful, and fits you. I think that Chinese-style dresses would fit you too. By the way – what is your secret? How are you so thin?

I am inspired by your work!!! :-) The outcome of your ‘Vaduz-jacket’ is just stunning and I am going to make that skirt on my own. It is such a great basic to combine with other self sewn pieces – I guess you are wearing the silk blouse underneath? ;)
