I made this dress from an amazing stretch cotton I found at Spotlight that kind of looks like grandma curtains. I really love the tie back so I made it in time for my trip to Italy and Greece. The pattern is AvantGarde S23354 which had no instructions, just the pattern pieces. I even managed an invisible zip and finished off everything without cutting corners! I’d love to make it again but I have too many dress patterns to try first. I feel this dress really shows that I’ve learn alot throughout my year doing sewing classes. I’ve definitely learnt alot of patience thats for sure!

The back of this dress is adorable. I love how it spices up such a simple silhouette.

And another gorgeous dress! Love the fabric, I should check out Spotlight stores in NZ to see if they stock it.
