Burda Style For people who sew

Ok, so it was my birthday the other day and I thought I’d make myself something nice to wear out on the weekend where I was meant to sip on cocktails and eat yummy food and dance the night away.
Instead, I was laid up in the hotel room sick from a non-self inflicted illness (no I wasn’t hungover from the night before :)) so whoas me – here is the outfit I would have like to have worn.
The top is similar to my red pussy bow blouse but there is no panelling in the front just plain.
The skirt is made from this fabric that I just adore. It has sparkles through it which I like in certain fabrics – and this is one of them. It is a simple high waisted a-line skirt.
Material Notes
I think it is a chiffon for the top and some sort of stuff for the skirt – sorry I have gone blank :)D

I love the whole outfit. The skirt looks classy with the simple shape and such a beautiful fabric. The blouse is amazing, great idea to cover the deep neckline with the bow.
