Thus named, because I tend to wear this to theatre events, where I am constantly asked What I Do? “Theatre”, Oh, Are You An Actress? “No…I’m a costume designer.”
I can only assume it is due to all the glamour and sasssiness that is this dress. Plus I usually sport tangerine high heels.
Simplicity 2418, lengthened 8 inches to make it into a dress. Bias cut, with back yoke and demi front yoke with pleats coming into a cowl neck. Self belt. AND AWESOMELY MATCHED CHEVRON SIDE SEAMS!
Fabric choice inspired by all those fab Christopher Kane galaxy dresses I’ve seen celebs sporting and a musical number I costumed all in neons and blacks.

Wonderful dress! Spectacular colors. Reminds me of some paintings I’ve seen.

You do look like an actress though. Very nice dress.
