Upstate, South C...
Three months later, I’ve finally finished! I’m one of the many that joined Gertie’s Lady Grey sew along, only I didn’t really know what I was in for. I thought, hey cool, I’ll make a coat….
I’m so glad I followed through and finished. It’s not perfect but I’m awfully proud of all the work that went in to it. This was a wonderful learning experience and I feel that I have really flexed my sewing muscle on this project. I learned lots of new and advanced techniques as well as learning how to do some basic things better. AND I have this fabulous new red coat to top it all off!
Lots more boring sewing talk on my blog
Wool flannel twill, silk twill lining, lots of interface-y things inside :)
