First sorbetto. Started out as just the sleeveless top, then added sleeves to see if I could and how it would look.
Fabric was left over from cushions for my sewing room (from ikea). Not the best drape, but it would do.
Added some rows of shiring to the back to stop it being so boxy since it lacks drape.
I definately see why the blogosphere is full of these easy tops. There is a lot of potential to build from the basics.
I made my own bias tape for the first time too!
PS: Herman is out “pet” hippo. He sits on our sofa in the TV room and doubles as a cushion :)
