Costumes made for “The Importance of Being Earnest” by Ocsar Wilde. This shows the blazer turned out from Gwendolyn-Town Outfit (the girl in blue and green). The green skirt is a nine-gored skirt with pockets, and a green ascot has been added to the ensamble. The pink dress is an altered version of this absolutly horrid dress that was about a size nine and lined with ugly sparkly lace and mismatching ribbons. It was resized to fit the (size zero) actress, ribbon and lace removed, and picked up in front to create a country polonaise, worn over a yellow skirt and a sheer blouse. The back of the skirt also has a rather large white bow, as does the hair, but you really can’t see it.
