A skirt with blue pockets and blue piping. At first I was a bit afraid of using/making piping because I thought it could be difficult to sew close to it, but it wasn’t! I also made my first fly zip and I’m happy with the result, yeay!
I didn’t add belt loops because the waist band turned out to be quite small and it didn’t look good with the loops. No belt would have fit through, anyway.
Yesterday I wore it with leggings and it didn’t look as good as I wanted. I guess it would look better if it was shorter, so I’ll spend some time with my sewing machine again…
-chequered cotton (they sold it as scrap, so it was cheap : ) )
