Description

I just finished this dress, and unfortunately, it turned out kind of frumpy. The 1950’s women on the pattern picture with their unrealisticly skinny waist, large bust, and large hips did not look frumpy!!? I like it anyway, kind of sweet and the pockets are great! Plus, i successfully installed my first invisible zipper, can you see it?

Material Notes

lightweight wool

It’s really cool. Perhaps a wearing a wide belt would help accentuate the waist? It’s not always what you wear, but how you wear it. Have confidence in your creation!

I think it is a really nice dress / jumper. Mixing with colourful tees or accessories ?

I don’t think its frumpy, I think it is very cool! But maybe frumpy can be a little bit cool sometimes! Anyway, I really like it. (can’t see the zipper!)
