Brooklyn, New Yo...
this mess of a dress is just as beautiful and complicated as you. and i mean that in a good way of course.
i made this one for myself for my 30th bday. i want to make you one, too.
many ways to wear, i show you my two favorites here: open loose avant yohji way, or tied-up secretary style.
get in over your head (dress goes on over your head).
pleated sliced belt thing with gold chiffon layer peaking out of the slices.
long ties around the waist to do as you will, and pull in the front panel ‘wrap’ part.
pleats at sleeve cap.
asymmetrical hem, randomly gathered shape.
asymmetrical back panel.
long ties at neck: loose, wrapped, bowed or knotted.
baby hems and french seams throughout.
made here with black china silk with gold chiffon accents.
other fabrics in stock for no additional cost, please inquire.
i can source pretty much any color you want, with custom pricing.
in your ‘message to seller’ please include your bust, waist, and hip measurements, your height, as well as any special fitting issues you may have.
