My husband and I visited some friends last week that have an adorable 2 year old, so I decided to make her a stuffed elephant. I used the pattern provided by Cicada Daydream here: http://cicadadaydream.blogspot.com/2009/05/ms-shade-garden-meet-mr-dogwood.html as the basic pattern, modified it and made 2 new pieces. I’ve added the pattern pieces I made for my version of her elephant. Sorry about the crappy pictures, but I literally finished the elephant on the metro on the way to our friends’ house and took the pictures while walking from the station to their house….The little girl liked the elephant* and named it Efi, thus, the project’s name.
*Thank god because otherwise I would have been rather sad since I put quite some effort into it.
After reading the comments of people who have made the elephant I must warn everyone else, that it seems my instructions are not very clear, so if you decide to make this, just follow your common sense and you will be fine.
I used cotton fabric from Ikea. I have no idea how much since I just used scraps that I had.
Trousers, blazers, and blouses in cool neutrals have model-off-duty style.
