The lovely Dolman Split sleeve top had to be made in white Rayon. As often is the case with these Burda patterns, I forgot to add the seam allowance. But, i cut a size 38 and that seemed enormous, so not having the seam allowance was good! It took a while to realise that i like this top. But when I pair it with a mini or skinny jeans, I just love it. Warning, there is huge under arm gape that needs to be managed if you’re not wanting to show your bra.
I omitted the zip as I thought it would be too heavy for the silky rayon, and any chance I have to omit a zip I’ll take it. The description of installing the plackets on the split sleeves could have been a little clearer but I muddled through!
