I bought this fabric so so long ago. I loved the color, but didn’t know what to do with it for a long time. Finally, this was a Saturday morning cartoon project that, of course, leaked into a much longer project. I cut the shape of the sleeves, then cut a bunch of smaller pieces together, and draped them on my dress form, while stitching them together with fuzzy orange yarn I had in my stash.
It’s pretty cool looking. Reversible, front to back and in to out. Funky cowl neck, extra long sleeves, long hem. The hem is raw.
This is very free-form, avant garde sweater-ism. Expect it to wear as such.
SOLD
Wool/acrylic blend designer surplus, variegated orange and red acrylic fuzzy yarn, love

Where is this sweater, now? Who’s wearing it? I hope she is worthy.
I’ve looked at this project every once in awhile for two years… Inspiration….

Yummy, cozy, serious double-take power. I love it. In fact, I wish I was wearing it right now. Did you get the fabric on Canal Street? and the pics are beautiful, too.
