This is already an old creation (Nevember 2007), but I had difficulties uploading it when it was new… since then it’s proved it’s usefulness and found a very good home in my wardrobe. It’s made after the example of a skirt my mom used to have, made from a very similar fabric. It’s very basic – a lot of pleats (using the print as guide) sewn into a waistband. However, I added white piping for some eye candy. It closes with a fabric covered button and hooks and eyes (I added another pair since the photos were taken, because it kept opening). I use it as a very comfortable and good-looking houseskirt, for cooking and other housechores, feeling pretty. Without the shoes in the photo, though. :-)
