I took an old sweater. I shortened it using this technique: http://blog.caseybrowndesigns.com/2009/12/how-to-refashion-a-cardigan/ . Then I cut it at the middle using this technique: http://grosgrainfabulous.blogspot.ro/2010/11/embellish-knit-month-day-6.html . I added buttonholes, buttons, a little lace and here it is :).
The lace is an elastic one, so it can stretch together with the sweater. I’ve sewn it by hand in big zig-zag stitches.
