This was a group project from a pattern drafting class from 2008 (when I didn’t fully understand how to do coat/jacket linings). I’ve since learned, but am fairly proud of my sewing skills on this one nonetheless!
The coat is made for a 6 to 8-year-old girl out of woven wool plaid made in Scotland and lined in hot pink silk made in Hong Kong (this coat is expensive…ouch). Wooden buttons decorate the front and cuffs, large snaps close the front. A large Peter Pan collar tops the deal along with a decorative bow and sache. Our model’s name is Kali, age 6.
100% woven wool; 100% silk; large snaps, wooden buttons; dark navy blue cotton thread, hot pink silk thread.

Wool and silk! Your fabric-choice couldn’t be better! I guess this coat is your models favorit garment piece! Looks really cute and the colours fits her very well! :-)
