Description

I made the Megan Nielsen Darling Ranges Dress in a size S. I shortened the skirt and sleeves, replaced the elastic gathered sleeves with narrow sleeve cuffs, and added interfacing to the buttonbands.

i really like how the neckline is finished with bias tape. i would definitely make this dress again, omitting the ties and possibly the pockets. more info is on the blog

Material Notes

cotton chambray from hancock fabrics
11 5/8" metal buttons from fabric.com
narrow strips of fusible lightweight woven interfacing
navy gutermann polyester thread
navy single fold bias tape

I love this, you have done such a great job and it looks so good on you. I have been ’stalking this pattern for quite some time but am frightened by all the buttons (my dear old machine is not great at buttonholes). Your beautiful version just might have given me the final push to conquer it.
