I bought this fabric a month ago and for a long time contemplated what I should make with it. Finally I decided to sew a very simple dress for the summer. The pattern was made by myself. In the pictures you can see bits of Old Town Poznan streets. If you come to Poznan someday, you have to go see it. I have a big sentiment for this part of the city because I used to live nearby when I was little.

Perfect work and drafting of the pattern! Love your photos… I’ll be sure to remember your advice should I ever visit Poland (which I would love to do!)!

So beautiful! Sometimes the simple patterns are the best ones – if the sewist is as talented as you are. By the way, I was in Poznan this spring, around March I think – a really nice place; the historic center is so pretty!

Super wygada(sz)! Gratuluje.
Mam pytanie. Z której Burdy masz wykrój dla sukienki z turkusowej dzianiny?
Pozdrawiam, Odilette

This is such a pretty dress. Could you describe how you got the sweetheart neckline to stay flat? It has such a clean line.

I stiffed the whole top part which is quite a tight fit, especially the neckline.
