Hi! I just fiddled around with your instructions for creating a gathered bust and it’s actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. However, when you sew fabric to the bottom, how do you get it to lay flat? I just tried to do it with some scrap fabric and mine wanted to keep poufing out in a triangle in the center. I appreciate your help!

Hi! If the fabric doesn’t go so well with the bottom part (as you may see in the last picture), you can try to make little pleats under your breasts. Take each side of the “triangle” between your thumb and forefinger and lay them out under your bust. When you sew the bottom part, the pleats will be pretty invisible. It’s quite hard for me to explain it in english but I really hope this helped! (-:
