This is the infamous colorblock dress from Burdastyle’s February 2012 issue. I have been collecting ponte fabrics for it since it’s release. This was my first Burdastyle pattern ever and can I just tell you?? I am a convert! This pattern was so excellently drafted and fit together so perfectly. I made this dress for my 30th birthday celebration. You can see many detailed pictures on my blog post at http://amityoriginals.blogspot.com/2012/12/awesome-birthday-dress.html as well as tips on making the pieces fit together well and my fun and sparkly makeup!
