Description

I made this dress as a gift for my sister, Bonnie. It’s a comfy jersey dress with silver buttons on the sash.

The pictures at the end are of her on Christmas morning!

It a very nice dress! I was wondering, how did you finish the cowl and neck seams?

I folded over the edge (after cutting some notches where it curved) and just sewed a straight stitch around the neckline. Since the fabric is jersey, I don’t have to worry about it fraying.

Really cute, it looks great on her! Did you use a pattern?

Nope, no pattern! I just used the dress form to get the basic shape, and tried it on to get the fit. Luckily we are about the same size! :)
