So how detailed are the instructions on craftsy? I’m kind of a novice but always up for a [feasible] challenge!

They are really good, there were no concepts that were beyond me, and her instructions are extremely clear. Plus if you have questions the platform makes it super easy to post them and Gertie gets back to you in a reasonable amount of time. The class assumes that you know basic garment construction (like what seams to sew together/ how to read the pattern, basic alterations, solid hand-stitching skills etc). but she shows you how to do pretty much everything, and talks about things that could be done as substitutions. It’s a good class. :)

Looks great! much better than the plain fabric used in burda magazine… I think it looks really good without the side bit.. well done

Yours looks sooo much better than the one in burdastyle! I didn’t like that pattern at all in the magazine, but I adore your version :)

ooh – I’ve been looking to see if anyone would be posting a dress made from that set of tutorials – your’s is lovely and the print is gorgeous! I bought the online tutorial too – but have yet to start actually constructing. Great work!
