I used a linen fabric, lined it with a citrus-yellow polyester-lining and added golden vintage buttons from my grandma. It isn’t sewn perfectly but thankfully the black fabric is pretty forgiving and hides my mistakes quite well. I made it when the Jolande pattern got released, so I believe my sewing skills improved since then, but it is definetively one of my favorite self made items so far. It’s one of those things in a wardrobe you can always go to if you have no idea what to wear that day.
And it normally isn’t that wrinkly but I made the photos during my summer holiday and took the blazer straight out of the suit case.
