Apples, 1950’s full skirts, and pockets – what more does a girl need for summer?
Made for the Make It Your Own theme week over on The Sew Weekly.
The bodice is from Burda Style 02/2011 #101 and the skirt is from McCall’s 3411 from 1955.
It’s made from a pure cotton, and I fully lined it in pale blue so it’s easy to wear in winter as well without that clinging-to-your-tights thing going on. (Lets face it, battling your skirt all day so it stays where it’s meant to just isn’t that much fun.)
There are more details over on my blog if you’re interested.
100% cotton, and fully lined in basic taffeta (?) lining.
