you know i’ve never liked that fabric but i think that this capelet has converted me :) the detail is absolutely impeccable and love that youve not only made little faux sleeves, but they’re PUFF sleeves! capelet + puff sleeves = heaven

I have found out how to achieve this particular puff-shape in a free, vintage sewing book on www.vintagesewing.info, If you like I can find the exact page for you (maybe you want to draft your own perfect little puffed sleeves in the future? :D)

Love the capelet. I saw a woman bicycling with a capelet like this on last summer on London, England, and I’ve had it on my books to look into making one ever since! Yours is so stylish!

That’s funny, because I made a cape like this using tweed, because I was inspired by so called “tweed rides” where people dress up in tweed all over and cycle through the city :D I’d love to have something like that here!
