Description

This was my 2nd ever clothing creation and the only one I’ve ever worn!! I saw IchiGoGirl’s pattern and thought that it looked simple enough for me to make. I don’t have a sewing machine so made it all by hand and didn’t realise until the end that it was way too small!!! oops so I had to improvise a little with the back fastening and decided to do corset lacing.

Material Notes

Cotton – Baseball print (meant for boys but I really liked it!) and red ribbon.

Sewing the pleat really wasn’t that bad as I used a roll of red ribbon, so only had to sew down one side to hold the pleats together! Thanks again for the comments!!

Wow, that is just amazing… I can’t believe you hand-sewed the pleat! It looks great on you, and I really like the material, thanks for posting pictures :-)!

Thanks for the comments, I’m definitely determined to continue making things and maybe invest in a machine!! (just short on space at the mo)

    This website is very inspirational!!

Great job..I also made this top and discovered it was too small. Great idea with the corset back. I can’t believe you did it all by hand!
