A blouse for a season: Spring
Sometimes I sit at my computer until late at night. I must have been very tired when I saw a project Shabby Chic Clutch Floral with Heart (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/shabby-chic-clutch-floral-with-heart) by Burdastyle member mcaplan. “Oh, what a nice blouse” I thought. Next day, when I looked at it again, I realized that it was no blouse – it was a clutch a person with a nice blouse held in front of her.
Its more than a year ago but making a blouse like I imagined, stayed in my mind. It was not easy to find a practicable pattern. Another inspiration came from the project Remade jacket (http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/remade-jacket) by alei, so I decided to take darker fabrics. I had that wonderful bright colored print by a designer in my stash, which was so nice and I chose darker fabric for the denim parts.
The pattern is BWOF 9/2008 No. 103
cotton print, lightweight denim
