I spent a lot of time adapting this thrifted vintage dress (how smaller sizes were then..), but finally my daughter looked at me frowning “it is a Granny dress”and, I must admit, she wasn’t quite wrong. So to pop it up with a brighter touch I have made a belt in Alcantara (is it an international name, I think, for a sort of light sinthetic suede) following a wonderful tutorial by Lex.
No need to say, mine is the lazy version (not doubled)… but after all, it was my first attempt at belts!

Vintage women weren’t smaller – modern stores choose to offer the smallest sizes in vintage wear, it’s not at all the same thing. Great belt..

Thanks! I loved the small white print on black – and it’s natural viscose, a good fiber for summer.

Hey… I don’t want to be always kind! I give constructive criticism – you should take it seriously! ;-)
