The pattern was super confusing but I did manage to figure it out. lol. I seriously felt like I was missing something but I wrote down simpler directions for future reference. :)

This pattern is confusing. I can’t figure out the hip yoke pockets… this is not easy. The instructions could be a lot better, this is just awful! Confusing!

This pattern is confusing me. Finally figured out that I’m supposed to have cut a separate piece for the zipper placket and that should explain some things. Now I’m trying to move on to the waistband, I don’t really understand how many pieces I’m supposed to have cut for the waistband nor why there is a separate belt and how that attaches. Also there are markings in the back pieces for what would appear to be welt pockets with piping, but the instructions don’t mention those at all. I’m not the best follower-of-instructions so maybe it’s just me, but any help would be appreciated :)
