Women’s plus size dress sewing pattern available for download. Available in various sizes and is produced by burda style magazine

This is a lovely summer dress with plunging neckline and gathered shoulder seams. A satin under-dress peeks out from underneath.

Note: This is the same pattern PDF as the Two-Layer Tunic

Recommended Materials

Lightweight, softly draping fabrics.

Amount of Fabrics

Dress: Viscose/rayon crêpe,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: 2.90 – 3.00 – 3.00 – 3.15 – 3.25 m
(3 1/4 – 3 3/8 – 3 3/8 – 3 1/2 – 3 5/8 yds).

Vilene Bias Tape/stay tape.

4 small fabric-­covered buttons.

Elastic thread for shirring.

Underdress: Crêpe satin, with width­wise stretch, width: 135 cm (53 ins)
length: 1.20 – 1.75 – 1.75 – 2.05 – 2.05 m
(1 3/8 – 2 – 2 – 2 1/4 – 2 1/4 yds).

Vilene Bias Tape/stay tape.

Stretch scalloped lace edging,
width: 1.5 cm (5/8 in)
length: 1.30 – 1.35 – 1.40 – 1.45 – 1.55 m
(1 1/2 – 1 5/8 – 1 5/8 – 1 3/4 – 1 3/4 yds).

Elastic, 5 mm (3/16 in) ­wide and 0.50 – 0.55 – 0.55 – 0.60 – 0.60 m (5/8 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 – 3/4 yd).
