In the summer of love a romantic, tiered skirt was essential. In the summer of 2013 it’s sewn from different batiste fabrics and does without a waistband. It’s so airy and light that you won’t want to wear anything else…

Batiste in three different prints,
width: 140 cm (55 ins)
length: fabric print I for ­yoke and top skirt tier,
0.70 – 0.70 – 0.70 – 0.70 – 1.05 m
(7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 7/8 – 1 1/4 yds);
fabric print II for middle skirt tier
0.70 – 0.70 – 1.05 – 1.05 – 1.05 m
(7/8 – 7/8 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 – 1 1/4 yds);
fabric print III for bottom skirt tier
1.40 m (1 5/8 yds).

    The instructions and the pattern don’t seem to make any sense & do not relate to one another. The instructions seem to contradict themselves in quantities of material.
