  Step 1 of 8

  First of all, close the side seams and the bottom of both pieces (fabric and lining). Then turn the outer bag inside out and put the lining bag into it (with right sides together). Sew the curved edges (fabric and lining). Leave one larger opening at one strap.

  Very important, do not forget to clip into the seam allowance on the curved edges - be careful not to clip the seam.

  Step 4 of 8

  Turn over the bag through one strap (with the largest opening). It seams like a little mess, but it definitely works. Afterwards iron the whole bag.

  Step 5 of 8

  Sew the straps together, first the outer fabric and press the seam allowance apart. Then do the same with the lining strap.

• 

  Step 6 of 8

  Back to the iron board press everthing to it's place and fix the straps with pins.

• 

  Step 7 of 8

  Topstitch all around the bag.

• 

  Step 8 of 8

  And now your Charlie bag is lined.
