What do you mean by ‘nore professional’? More professional than what?
If you are thinking of something with a better stitch quality than the cheap and cheerful entry level machines, look at Pfaff, Husqvarna and Bernina.
And have a read of my sewing machine buying essay: http://www.diceyhome.free-online.co.uk/On%20the%20care%20&%20Feeding%20of%20sewing%20machines/on_the_choosing.htm

Dear Kate,
Thank you for your reaction. What I meant with more professional is a machine with stronger motor, better stitching options etc. The one I have now is a cheap singer machine. I made a lot with it, but I can’t use heavy fabrics, it just doesn’t work.
Thanks a lot for essay, it really helps!

The trouble with a lot of those cheaper machines is that they cram all sorts of fancy stitches and features into a crap frame, and the poor thing cannot cope! Go for a better make, as above, and fewer features. If you want something that will sew for years on coat fabric, but don’t need lots of decorative stuff or fancy buttonholes, take a serious look at the Bernina 1008 mechanical machine.
