I did this for my kid’s picture day. I bought a tie at the thrift store: a skinny men’s number. Then I measured how long the tie should be from the neck (6" or so) and knotted it very tight. I put a few stitches on the BACK of the knot to keep it in place forever, then cut the tie and sewed elastic to the loose ends so it could slip over Mr.’s head.
