This is a round yoke, no opening back or front, but armscye is part of the yoke. I’m totally mystified by the directions. The yoke pieces are to be stitched together at the shoulders, both the top layer and the bottom, then placed right sides together. Then it says “Stitch along front neck edges, beginning on right front yoke exactly at seam line on lower edge.” It seems to me that the neck edge and the lower edge are two entirely separate areas, so this doesn’t make sense.
The rest of the yoke instructions are equally dense.
Has anyone made this little dress? It’s adorable, just can’t figure out the yoke directions! Thanks!

Why don’t you try lining it? You could use a contrasting color to make the burn out pop.
