Hello-
I am working on the osman tie and Everything is going okay, in fact it’s turning out much better than I thought it would for my first project, ever! I bought enough materials to make about 5 ties knowing the first few would be a disaster but so far it looks pretty good. Having said that I think their are a couple things in the instructions that are not so helpful.

for instance, the pictures shown in step 9 is pretty much exactly the same picture as in step 10 except the folds are pinned together. This is not helpful when the instructions tell you to (paraphrasing), step 9) fold the outer edges toward the center line, and then step 10) fold the folded out edges towards the center line and pin. those instructions are so similar that a distinction between the pictures would be helpful.

Actually the pictures in the guide were overall not very helpful.Despite this it seem like the project is coming together. Unfortunately I’m having to guess on step 9 and 10 that what I’m doing it best practice.
