Hello fellow sewers of the world! I wanted to be a part of a sewing club here in Columbus, and since there was none, I figured what the heck and have started one. It is still in the infancy stages, but here are the details thus far:
Meeting Location: Lazelle Woods Recreation Center
8140 Sancus Blvd
Westerville, OH 43081
Meeting times: 1st & 3rd Saturday beginning Sept 19 from 11 AM – 1 PM (we could go to weekly if the group deems it)
Cost: $0
The first meeting will be a meet and greet, so no need to bring your machines, but rather come with some good ideas from the group. I hope to do a little bit of “show and tell”, group projects, and a lot of inspirational exchange of techniques and ideas. All levels of sewers are welcome!
I look forward to seeing you all there!

Hi Shaunda!
Your club’s blog feature is scheduled for this Friday. September 13th falls on a Sunday. Did you mean to put September 12th?
Thanks for clarifying!

Our group has grown and we are now meeting weekly (still on Saturdays). The new additions to the group made Charlie bags last week, and will make an Apron this week – next its on to the Danielle dress.
