Is there a club (or anyone interested in forming one) in the Twin Cities, MN area? I would LOVE to have someone to sew with, and more importantly make friends in my area.

I have to think that making fabric flowers is 100% more fun with others.

    If you’re still looking, I’m interested! I’d love a sewing friend…and fabric flowers sound like a blast to make-I’ve always wanted to learn how to do them!

    Try calling some of the fabric stores in your area. Some stores have 1 hour classes like flower making and some have 3 – 12 hour classes for garment making. You have to decide if you want to attend an open class – you take a project and sew what you want. You can also take a specialized topic class – everyone sews the same item.     Hey if any one is still interested in this, I am. I have been tempted to try out some of the sewing classes in the shops around my area but never really have the money for it, or much interest yet. I would totally love to meet and make new friends face to face. I know a lot of people that love sewing but we never seam to get together. I think having a sewing club is a fantastic idea.
