Burda Style For people who sew

Hello Burdastyle,

Here I am again. I really don’t want to complain, I understand launching a new site comes with a lot of problems that will take a while getting solved. But there are A LOT of problems.
My about me section was wrong (changed it now), my inbox is gone , my about me pictures are gone, half of the comments on my creations are gone and a lot of other ones have been added that do not belong to me!
And now I look through my ‘purchased items’, I had 4 purchased items, and only 1 is left now. Where did the other purchased patterns go? I didn’t really get to making them all, so I would really like to have them.
I am missing the patterns for; Amanda plus, Anita and Corinne.

I hope you can fix this. Again, I understand if it make take a while, no worries. But I paid money for those patterns, so eventually I would really like to use them!

I don’t know whether other members have the same problem?

  I also lost a purchased item (anita jeans). Don’t know if that is the right place, but I also lost a creation: http://old.burdastyle.com/creations/show/23219

  Another problem is that some creations are not linked to the used patterns anymore. Another problem is that I cannot choose a season while editing a creation.

  I am missing a few patterns in my account also. There are four listed under the old site that I purchased (Sarah, Anita, Alexis, and Liz), but on the new site, of these four only Alexis shows up.

  I also have some problems. My creations are gone, my favourites are all gone. I haven’t really seen yet if my inbox is empty or not or the patterns that I’ve been purchased are gone. But I’m gonna check it out now.

  Hey, anyone know how it’s going with this bug? In my opinion it’s rather serious, especially since it has happened to a lot of people.

  Everyone with missing purchases can you let me know what browser and operating system you are working with? once i have that I will look into it for you!

    Firefox 3.5.2.

    Are you really sure this is a browser problem? I have purchased two patterns, and now I’m only missing one of them. Isn’t there something weird with your data base and the transaction to the new website?

  Every time I have read about this problem, it brings back the postal employee who was fired after the inspectors found out he had dumped any mail he couldn’t deliver by the end of his shift, into his trunk then take it to a landfill. He’d been doing this for several months. The data is not being uploaded to the accounts. To the members who are missing patterns, as a back-up, goto: oldsite which (I hope) goes to the back-up and try to download your patterns from there. I just re-downloaded my purchases to be sure they were working. Now, let’s see if I have the link entered correctly. N

  Yes. run your cursor over “oldsite” in my post with a time of 5:34 PM. It is however, 12:35 PM in all of Middle Tennessee and as far north as Chicago. Cordially, Nehmah BTW, still using Firefox, but had IE7 when I downloaded the patterns in 2007 through 2009/may. Nehmah (AHA! the site uses GMT for a clock.)

  I had the same problem with my purchased patterns dissapearing on the new site & as is usually the case i hadn’t gotton around to downloading them… i also couldn’t get into the old site but was kindly given this web address in reponse to another post i made so i’ve just managed to download them all now ;-D

  Don’t know if this will help but at least you won’t have lost your purchased patterns completely

  I am missing all my old patterns, I only have the one I purchased from the new site. I can’t remember all the patterns I used to have but I did have the Anita, I am running Firefox but used to have Internet Explorer when I used the old site. Love the new site anyway though :-)
