After searching sewing blogs all throughout the week, I soon came across something that looks truly interesting- a beginner’s sew-along in which the author guides the sewer through the making of a cute, chic, hat! The blog, teensew.blogspot.com, is targeted towards teens, but the irresistably cute patterns are timeless! There is a link for the free pattern on the blog, and it utilizes half a yard of knit fabric and some elastic. Perfect for yourself or your teen!
