This is a second version of the dress I made back in April (link here) This time I used a remnant of panel fabric that I found at a local fabric store and I had so much fun with the placement of the pattern. It’s always good to make a second version of a dress so soon after the first as the process is quicker and way more satisfying! The dress is unlined save the midriff section which is self-faced. The only thing that took time was the handstitching on the bias trim and the hem. But I quite enjoy hand sewing nowadays. I like that it forces me to slow down!
