These pants were made by me for my husband from a year 1971 Kwik-Sew pattern, in the not-so-well-known “Broomstick” style. The fabric is a wonderful cotton/poly stretch brown denim, sewn with white contrast stitching. There are subtle retro features to the pants: angular slant front pockets, a long 9 inch zipper fly, back welt pockets, shaping darts, and a wide waistband. The pattern was well designed and fun to make, as well as providing the perfect slim fit for my skinny guy!
